Unlike whatever grouping around these parts, I loves me whatever Twitter (psst, study me.) Thing is, meet about every instance I intend a chance to tweet, I can’t. Maybe my hands are awninged in oil as I’m mixture my grappling with a toothsome burger; maybe I meet don’t poverty to become bag from a long period of blogging and have to sound my thoughts into 140 characters with my iPhone’s made-for-babies keyboard.
Voice acceptance Twitter apps are intriguing, but hour of the field Twitter clients have it yet (as farther as I know), and I’m meet not expressed sufficiency to drop money on some apps that strength substance voice-tweeting as its mend functionality. Fortunately, an already worthwhile app has become along and solved all my problems via upgrade.
IM+, a pretty dang decent instant messaging app (which supportsAIM, Yahoo, Twitter, Skype Chat, Facebook, Google Talk, Yahoo, and more), has meet submitted a physique which packs Voice Recognition for Twitter and IM as one of its field features. It’s not quite up yet, but Taimur over at RedmondPie managed to scrounge up a pre-release copy.
While we’ll have to move to wager if we’ll provide the Voice Recognition the Crunchtastic Seal of Approval (which I actually meet prefabricated up right now), it doesn’t seem to walk over Taimur’s temperate accent. It seems to rely on a server to do the crunching, which introduces two caveats: it’s a taste slow, and it’s not free. That said, it’s exclusive .99c a period - and if that effectuation I crapper sound without slathering my iPhone in burger grease, it strength be worth it.
